It has been almost a year now since the launch of the 6 series, and ASUS is gearing up for the launch of the ROG Phone 7 in the Philippines.
The latest series of ASUS ROG’s signature gaming phone will be launched on June 15, 2023, at 6 PM, with the launch event to stream live on the ROG official Facebook page. There, gamers can get to see the two models in the new lineup: the ROG Phone 7 and the ROG Phone 7 Ultimate.
The event is titled ROG Phone 7: The Ultimate Game Show, and it wil feature two teams of notable Filipino gamers and content creators as they face off in a series of popular game shows.
Specifically, the event will be hosted by esports host Leo, and the firs team is Team Storm White which is composed of Ann Mateo and Manjean Faldas. Facing them is Team Phantom Black with Patricia Reyes and Khenji Saito. These two teams will fight head-to-head for a chance to win the newest ROG Phone 7 Ultimate.
As a bonus, viewers will also get to win some special prizes as they can take part in various challenges while at home.
As for the phones, the ROG Phone 7 series will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC that’s paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of storage.
Both variants will also feature a 165Hz AMOLED display, a large 6,000mAh battery, the GameCool 7 thermal system, and the wide range of ROG Phone signature features like the AirTrigger buttons and the GameFX Audio System.
